At Chinzanso, we will be offering a breakfast buffet menu featuring eel for a limited time from August 16th (Friday) to December 31st (Tuesday), 2024, for customers from outside the prefecture and local residents. Masu.
During the Edo period, Urawa was a water village where many river fish lived, and it also flourished as a post town on the Nakasendo, where eel was a delicacy loved by vacationers. Urawa is also known as the birthplace of “kabayaki,” and many restaurants still serve eel dishes today.
At our hotel, we always offer a breakfast buffet with about 40 menu items including Japanese and Western dishes, where you can enjoy as much as you like. The new item we are offering is “kabayaki,” which is steamed in the hotel kitchen to a fluffy finish. You can eat it in your own way, such as “Unadon” by putting it on top of rice, “Uzaku” by pairing it with vinegared food, or “Una Chazuke” by pouring dashi soup over it.
