Doll and photo memorial service now available” *“6 special days to commemorate your precious memories with peace of mind”* A special period has arrived to honor dolls and photographs that hold precious memories. For six days from August 15th to 20th, the Maple Kobe Sannomiya store will be accepting donations of dolls and photos. Items received during this period will be carefully offered as a memorial service by a monk on September 1st. With gratitude for your precious memories, take this opportunity to organize your mind and take a new step forward.
*Memorial service procedure and period*
*Reception period*: August 15th (Thursday) to August 20th (Tuesday) *Reception location*: Maple Kobe Sannomiya store (2-12-11
Shimoyamate-dori, Chuo-ku, Kobe, Hyogo Prefecture, 4th floor of the Overseas Chinese Hall)
*Reception hours*: 10:00-16:00
* Target items *: Dolls (2), photos (up to 2 kg)
*Cost*: 2,000 yen each
* We will not be able to return any dolls or photos you bring to the memorial service, so please sign a pledge to that effect. *
*Memorial flow*
On September 1st, a monk will carefully honor the dolls and photos you brought with you. After the memorial service, the items will be disposed of appropriately and a memorial service will be held to express gratitude for the memories. Memorial services are a
traditional Japanese custom and are an important act to express gratitude and respect for things. Please note that you will not be able to be present during the memorial service.
*How to participate*
During the period, please come directly to Maple Kobe Sannomiya store. Advance reservations are not required, but if you need a large quantity of items or special treatment, it will be easier if you contact us in advance.
