Okayama City supports the establishment of an after-school children’s club, My Style Co., Ltd. opens “Postmeito Club Hirai”

Atsushi) will open “Postomeito Club Hirai” in August 2024 as the first facility that utilizes the after-school children’s club (after-school children) facility opening subsidy for private businesses, which was started by Okayama City this year. It opened on the 1st of the month.
Starting in 2024, Okayama City has launched a new subsidy system for private businesses that open after-school clubs (for after-school children). The purpose is to promote the establishment and operation of after-school children’s clubs by private businesses, and to eliminate the number of children on waiting lists, which is an important issue for city government.
According to the Children and Families Agency, the number of children on waiting lists for after-school clubs is 18,462 as of May 1, 2024, an increase of 2,186 from 16,276 last year (*1).
