Aiming to be a “brand that connects with everyone” like watermelon “Pasteki d’Or” is a coined word based on the French word
“pastēque,” which means “watermelon.” The local Echizen city is famous for its Hakusan watermelon, so this name was chosen with the hope of building new connections with everyone, with the aim of becoming a brand that connects everyone from Fukui to all over the country. .
Based on this concept, we put a lot of thought and attention into everything from the interior of the store to each and every item we offer. We were born by renovating the 3rd floor of a historic building built in 1972, and we took advantage of the Showa retro atmosphere of exposed concrete to create a space that evokes a unique sense of warmth and nostalgia. In addition, the store’s fixtures include axes. Wood fixtures previously used at femme stores have been reused to create a space that evokes a sense of history.
The store has a historical feel with exposed concrete and warm wood fixtures. You can feel the nostalgic, Showa retro atmosphere.
The Showa era nightgowns on display are also connected to the worldview of axes femme.

We carry products that have been remade from old femme clothing and dresses from the Showa era, and each piece has a story that connects it from the maker to the customer, and then to the next customer. We would like to deliver to our customers rather than discarding valuable Axis Femme accessories from more than 10 years ago that are no longer on sale, as well as phantom samples that remained in the hands of manufacturers without being commercialized. It’s on sale.

We are also working with creators to create new value in our hometown of Echizen City, Fukui Prefecture.
Nomura, a designer from Minami-Echizen Town, will be presenting “Pastekidoll” We also offer customized products in collaboration with Kazuhiro’s brand “TERAU.” We aim to provide our customers with items that highlight their individuality while allowing them to enjoy second-hand clothing.
In addition, in the handmade product corner in the store, items are sold that have been carefully remade from old clothes one by one by the people at Serp, a support center for people with disabilities in Fukui Prefecture.

We also sell remade items by NANAMI, a native of Fukui Prefecture who joined IGA this year and is currently active in Fukui.

Four years have passed since the “Zero Waste Declaration”. Further evolution. IGA Co., Ltd. declared “zero waste” in July 2020. We have continued our efforts with the desire to eliminate waste, deliver products to as many people as possible, and contribute as much as possible to the world without wasting resources.
In order to take the next step further, we decided to start the second-hand clothing sales business “axes femme vintage”.
Store” was rebranded and “Pasteki Doll” was born. This brand is also part of IGA’s “Zero Waste Project” and aims to contribute to solving issues in the apparel industry. Pasteki Doll is a brand that is at the heart of SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) efforts, and plays an important role in reducing clothing waste to zero. We promote sustainable fashion by collecting, reusing, and reselling products that customers no longer need. Furthermore, we also carry out remakes and reborn products in new forms.
A reception to commemorate the opening was held on August 2nd, and was attended by many people from the local community and those working with IGA.
At a.cafe, operated by a.company (a.departmentstore), you can enjoy smoothies and fruit punch made with Hakusan watermelon. We had a great time.
Hakusan watermelon, a specialty of Echizen City, Fukui Prefecture, was served. Enjoyed unique items such as used clothes and remade items.
