Gakken (Shinagawa, Tokyo/President: Toru Goromaru) is cooperating with the “Otsukisama Picture Book Original Art Exhibition” currently being held at Nijino Picture Book Store (Meguro-ku, Tokyo), and will be holding the workshop in August 2024 on the day of the workshop. From the 24th (Saturday) to August 31st (Saturday), the last day of the original art exhibition, the “Otsuki-sama’s Walk” published by Gakken will be held.

“Otsukisama’s Walk New Edition” and “Otsukisama’s Friend”
“New Edition” is a popular picture book by Ren Kawachi that depicts exciting nights and having fun with fellow planets. It has been decided that Ren Kawachi’s new book will be released by Nijino Picture Bookstore on Sunday, September 1st.
The title is “Otsukisama’s picture book”. This is a very nice picture book with illustrations by Ren Kawachi based on Fuwahane’s (Yuko Uchida) text about the waxing and waning of the moon. The author, Fuwahane, is a person who actively introduces picture books, such as by disseminating picture books and a life with picture books as a link to picture books, and broadcasting a picture book
introduction live every morning at 7 o’clock.
This time’s “Otsukisama’s Picture Book” literally depicts the process of the moon gradually gaining weight and then thinning again from the new moon to the full moon. Kawachi-san added pictures to the words written by Fuwahane-san, and the text was written by
Fuwahane-san. Since Mr. Kawachi draws it, the same “Otsuki-sama” appears, but it has a different world view from the “Otsuki-sama” series, which has friends from the planet. However, it is a stylish picture book where you can fully enjoy Ren Kawachi’s wonderful illustrations.

Let’s make bath bombs for Ren Kawachi and Tsukisama! ”* will be held at Nijino Picture Book Store in Meguro, Tokyo!
Bath bombs are a type of bath additive that create fizzing bubbles when added to hot water. Actually, you can make it by hand. Do you know how to make bath bombs? The main ingredients are only baking soda, citric acid, and potato starch. Mix well and add jojoba oil and aroma oil for fragrance. Then color it with natural coloring, cut it into a round shape, add a face with icing, and it’s done. About 5 cm* You can make 3 bath bombs*.
