* ■Gojitere Chu! *
On October 3, 1994, we began broadcasting “Gojitere Shuttle,” the first two-hour wide-band information program in the Tohoku region. The word “shuttle” has the meaning of aiming for two-way interaction with viewers, similar to the space shuttle that travels between space and Earth, or the shuttle that rallies in badminton. In 2008, the name was changed to “Gojitere Chu!” and the broadcast time was increased to 3 hours. “Gojitere” will enter its 30th anniversary year in 2024, with the desire to “reciprocate with viewers” and “want to hold rallies” unchanged.
So far, we have worked on “Searching for Old Videos”, which collects recordings of Gojitere from over 20 years ago and revisits them for interviews, “Gojitere Calendar PROJECT”, which produces original program calendars, and famous scenes that occurred in the program. We have broadcast programs such as “Gojitere Cult Q,” which asks quizzes from the world, and “Gojitere World Journey,” which is broadcast live from Paris, France, and on-site coverage of Machu Picchu, Peru. We plan to continue broadcasting special programs commemorating the 30th anniversary.
