[Miharudai Gakuen] [National festival to consider independence and learning for young people with intellectual and developmental disabilities held in October]
*[National festival to consider the independence and learning of young people with intellectual and developmental disabilities] [October 12th to 13th]*
A national festival that considers the independence and learning of young people with intellectual and developmental disabilities will be held at Aichi Prefectural University’s Nagakute Campus from October 12th to 13th, 2024, with support from the Suzaki Welfare Foundation. This event aims to create a “university” education that allows young people with disabilities to continue studying even after graduating from high school or high school, as well as work, as well as teach young people with disabilities, their families, and their families about how to live a rich life that aims to participate in society and express themselves. This is an event where people from various positions, including teachers, supporters, and researchers, will participate, learn together, and share information. Through this event, we aim to form a new community and promote interaction.
Background of the event
This event was planned based on the 10th anniversary of the founding of Miharashidai Gakuen University and the 32nd Pestalozzi Education Award. In addition, since this is a subsidy project of the Susaki Welfare Foundation, we are inviting people from all over the country who are conducting pioneering activities to participate, report on the current situation, deepen and develop the future with the
