In February 2025, the stage play “I’m in love anyway” will be released. ” has been decided to be performed!
The original work is currently being serialized in the monthly magazine “Nakayoshi” (Kodansha), and the comic has currently released nine volumes, with a cumulative circulation of over 1.2 million copies* by Haruka Mitsui*
“I’m in love anyway.” is a very popular youth manga. The
heart-throbbing youth love story between a high school girl and her four handsome childhood friends has become a hot topic among middle and high school students.
And now, it has been decided that it will be made into a stage play for the first time in Tokyo and Osaka in February 2025! The exquisite Aoharu story will accelerate even more! Starring as a member of Kansai Junior’s popular unit “AmBitious”*

Furthermore, the heroine won the Special Jury Prize at the 13th All-Japan National Beautiful Girl Contest, and subsequently appeared in the NHK morning TV drama series “Beppin-san” and the taiga drama, and most recently, “Overprotective Young Master”. Also, since the original story was written by a high school student, I would like to take on the challenge while remembering myself as a high school student until last year. I will play the role. This is Manami Igashira. I’m really looking forward to seeing what the five childhood friends will be like on stage. I would like to play the role of high school students who are afraid of ruining their current relationships, who are unable to understand their own feelings, and who are conflicted with Mizuho in a careful manner. I think there are a lot of difficult things going on in this world, but I want to make a work that will make the people who come to see it feel like they can move on, even just a little bit. I was surprised to hear about the stage adaptation, but I’m excited because it looks like it will be able to express a new version of Koishima. I am filled with gratitude and joy to be able to play the role of a wonderful cast who are in the midst of their youth and pursuing their dreams, just like Mizuho, Teruzuki, and the others. In addition to the excitement of love, there is also the need to enjoy the present moment to the fullest and to move forward with hope for the future.
I would be happy if the audience could feel the spirit of the original work through the live performance and dynamic stage performance and enjoy the world of “Koishima.”
