EverConnect Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Yoshida) operates the digital wallet platform “Owlwallet” that utilizes blockchain technology.
Keiichi (hereinafter referred to as “Ever Connect”) is a “mutual help project between local and outside residents using smartphones” implemented by Clear Nabuki Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Takamatsu City, Kagawa Prefecture, President and CEO: Mitsunori Kusudo, hereinafter referred to as “Create Nabuki”). We are pleased to announce that we have provided a digital wallet platform for the Business Plan Demonstration Experiment.
This demonstration experiment was conducted based on the business plan that Clear Nabuki won the “Setouchi Entrepreneur Award” at the “2nd Setouchi Business Contest” held on October 9, 2023.
This business plan is as follows.
“In the Setouchi area, due to population decline and aging, there are concerns that in the near future people will find themselves in a situation where they will not be able to get help or have anyone to turn to even if their daily lives are affected.
Under these circumstances, we believe that the essential measure to counter population decline is the creation of a society in which local communities coexist.
We will also propose a web application that creatively destroys the legacy of the community-based society of the past and DX the community-based society. The app matches residents’ registered “things they want help with” with “things they can help with,” allowing residents to help each other by exchanging points. The points earned can be used at local support stores, which not only promotes mutual support in the community, but also creates an economic cycle within the community. ”
This time, we selected Miyoshi City, Tokushima Prefecture as the demonstration site, and in cooperation with the Miyoshi Creation Promotion Council, we conducted a demonstration experiment using solar sharing farmland as a means of helping each other to cope with the lack of labor in harvesting crops. Ta.
On Sunday, August 4, 2024, participants from inside and outside the prefecture helped harvest cucumbers and tomatoes on solar sharing farmland, and as a reward, they were given 1,200 points on a special app they downloaded in advance. Afterwards, participants enjoyed a lunch made with local ingredients at a restaurant in the city using the reward points they earned on the day. Points are a system that allows cashless payment by reading the QR code installed at
participating stores with a special app and consuming the points equivalent to the payment amount (1 point = 1 yen).
This time, our digital wallet platform has implemented a combination of high tamper resistance using blockchain technology, user
certification using cryptographic keys, and authorization
authentication for service use, and is based on Clear Nabuki’s business plan. Based on the concept of “creating a worldview where people who contribute to society are rewarded,” the concept was adopted because it is compatible with future proof of social contribution through NFT.
In addition, participants made comments such as, “I won’t continue volunteering, but I would like to participate again because I would be grateful if I could receive this kind of reward,” and “It was convenient because I could easily pay with my smartphone.” I did.
