Osaka Marriott Miyako Hotel (location: 1-1-43 Abenosuji, Abeno-ku, Osaka City) will be located at the Abeno Harukas Museum of Art from October 12, 2024 (Saturday) to January 5, 2025 (Sunday).
“Impressionism” to be held
We will be offering a special menu in collaboration with “From Monet to America: Collection of the Worcester Art Museum.” *
“Impressionism: From Monet to America” exhibits mainly the collection of the Worcester Museum of Art, which has been collecting Impressionist works since its opening in the suburbs of Boston, USA. This is a collaboration with the collection of the Worcester Art Museum. We offer a menu inspired by the works of Claude Monet, a leading French Impressionist painter, and Childe Hassam, a leading American Impressionist.

This dessert is inspired by Childe Hassam’s “Flower Picking in a French Garden” and uses a plate as a canvas. In the center, a road is spread out with chocolate sauce, and on the left, there is a garden tree with pistachio and caramel chocolate mousse. On the right side, flowers are expressed with tarte fruit rouge and berry ice cream. In addition, the woman modeled in white chocolate is also faithfully reproduced. In order to bring the world closer to you, we have placed a chocolate plate with a picture printed on it in the front.

The appetizers, which are dazzling with their gorgeous presentation, are inspired by the world of Claude Monet’s Water Lilies. The soup expresses the world depicted in sepia in Childe Hassam’s “Columbus Boulevard, Rainy Day” in pumpkin and mushroom tones, and the main dish is also inspired by Hassam’s work “Sylph’s Rock, Appledore Island”. We paid attention to every detail. For dessert, use Worcestershire sauce as an accent.
This is a playful dish that takes note of the fact that Worcester City in England, the birthplace of Worcestershire sauce, and Worcester City in the United States, where the Worcester Art Museum is located, are sister cities.
