More than 80,000 players and supporters participated in last year’s “Sonael Japan Cup,” and as a result, “Varen Nagasaki” won for the third consecutive year.
This year, the Noto Peninsula earthquake occurred on January 1st, causing severe damage. In addition, in recent years, linear rain belts have been occurring in various places, causing disasters due to heavy rain. On the 8th of this month, the Japan Meteorological Agency announced “Nankai Trough Earthquake Temporary Information” in response to an earthquake with a seismic intensity of lower 6 that was observed in Miyazaki Prefecture. Under these circumstances, we will utilize the J.League and J.Club’s ability to communicate and involve the local community to encourage many fans, supporters, and local residents to prepare before disasters occur. By increasing their knowledge of disasters, we will create a safe and secure community and environment in which to play soccer, while at the same time increasing the disaster prevention capabilities of Japan as a whole.
