Minato Holdings signs partnership agreement with “Next Generation Robot Engineer Support Organization Scramble”

Representative Director, Chairman and Group CEO: Takehiko Wakayama; Securities code: 6862; hereinafter referred to as Minato Holdings) has announced that it has entered into a partnership with the Next Generation Robot Engineers Support Organization (commonly known as Scramble). We have concluded a partnership agreement and will continue to support the organization’s activities in the future.
Minato Holdings aims to realize the “Digital Consortium Concept” by forming a consortium in the digital field, proactively conducting business investments and M&A, and leveraging synergies to increase corporate value. By signing a partnership agreement with Scramble, we will work with Scramble to provide a place where children, who will lead the next generation, can continue learning engineering.
Scramble is an organization that creates next-generation engineering education programs with the mission of nurturing “challenging co-creative human resources.” Specifically, in addition to hosting the “Engineer Championship CoRE,” where a wide range of participants from beginners to experts compete by building robots in teams, we also organize a local robot club activity called “CoRE,” which provides elementary and junior high school students with an opportunity to try their hand at building large robots. We are engaged in projects such as the nationwide expansion of the Junior Robot Team.
Since Minato Holdings is headquartered in Minato-ku, Tokyo, we will take advantage of this partnership agreement to become the main sponsor of the junior robot team “Minato Albus JRT,” which will be based in Minato-ku from August of this year.
