Overview of foreign employment and retention support project Training aimed at foreigners with status-based residence statuses, etc., aimed at improving communication skills in the Japanese workplace and acquiring knowledge about Japanese workplace customs and employment practices, labor-related laws and regulations, social insurance system, etc. This project aims to promote stable employment and workplace retention in Japan by providing employment and retention support for employees.
To date, we have accepted a total of 57,000 participants in our training programs for foreigners. Last year, 165 people participated in the seminars for business offices, and we received positive feedback, with comments such as “It was helpful as there was a lot of information that could be put into practice right away,” and “It was an opportunity to review my daily communication.” Ta.
This project is planned and operated by the Japan International Cooperation Center (JICE), which is commissioned by the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare.
