30 years have passed since L’eau de Issey Pour Homme, a fragrance that expresses the scent of water.
ISSEY MIYAKE PARFUMS is releasing a new fragrance concept created by Issey Miyake from essential natural elements.
Taking the opportunity of this announcement, the “ISSEY MIYAKE LESEL D’ISSEY: Imagination of
Salt” exhibition will be held, and designer/artist Tokujin Yoshioka, who designed the new fragrance bottle, will be working on a scent installation. “I want to express the charm of a pure and powerful perfume based on a fundamental and universal theme,” says Yoshioka. Please take a look at the dynamic installations that evoke the senses, unique to him, who has presented innovative works with themes of nature and light.
Inside the museum, there will also be special videos exclusive to this exhibition, including an introduction to the process of designing the sculptural bottle, and an interview with perfumer Quentin Bishu, who created the fragrance. You can experience a dynamic world view that spreads through new scents.

03. Tokujin Yoshioka
Norihito Yoshioka Designer/Artist
Born in 1967. Studied design under Shiro Kuramata and Issey Miyake, and established Tokujin Yoshioka Design Office in 2000. He works in the fields of design, architecture and contemporary art and is highly acclaimed internationally. His representative works include the Tokyo 2020 Olympic torch, as well as the glass bench “Water” on permanent display at the Musée d’Orsay in Paris.
