Announcement of “Fukushima Tokiwa Tairyo City in Usui Department Store”, an event to think about SDGs from “Fukushima” with children *An event to think about SDGs with children will be held from Wednesday, August 21st to Tuesday, August 27th at Usui Department Store (13-1 Nakamachi, Koriyama City, Fukushima Prefecture). Have fun learning about the charms of Fukushima’s sea with your children!!* Space One Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Koriyama City, Fukushima
Prefecture) was commissioned by the Fukushima Soso Reconstruction Promotion Organization, a public interest incorporated association, to open the Usui Department Store for seven days from August 21st (Wednesday) to August 27th (Tuesday), 2024. “Fukushima Tokiwa Tairyo City in Usui Department Store” will be held at (13-1 Nakamachi, Koriyama City, Fukushima Prefecture).
* -Event Purpose-*
Even though I live in Fukushima Prefecture, which is home to both mountains and the sea, I have very few opportunities to experience the sea in Nakadori, and the appeal of Fukushima’s sea and the current sea problems tend to be someone else’s problem. The theme of this event is “Let’s think about SDGs from the sea of Fukushima,” and we will provide an opportunity to learn about and enjoy the charms of Fukushima’s sea, including products from Tokiwa.

– Digital Aquarium: Experience drawing fish swimming in the sea on a monitor – Craft experience: Making resin keychains using microplastics – SDGs Quiz: A quiz to learn knowledge about ocean issues in a fun way digital aquarium background
Keychain made from microplastics (Image is for illustrative purposes only.) If you answer all questions correctly on the SDGs quiz, you will receive one of two types of [Tokiwa stickers].

Sale and tasting of seafood caught and processed on Hamadori Tastings will also be offered at “Tokiwa Tairyo City”
*3． Tokiwa Restaurant (Saturdays and Sundays only)*
Kitchen trucks and food stalls using Tokiwa ingredients will be opened at Shirakashi Plaza in front of Usui Department Store.
