We are pleased to announce that “Echo” will be holding an event to create original cocktails for the first time on Wednesday, August 28, 2024.
At the event, pilots in remote areas who have difficulty going out will receive the “OriHime Echo”.
By operating the reader arm connected to “Echo”, the robot
communicates with customers in real time and gives instructions for cocktail creation. OriHimeEcho’s follower robot at the local bar counter will create an original cocktail.

“OriHime
“Echo” is a remote control system that applies collaborative robot technology from Reazon HI Research Institute, and was developed mainly by overseas university student interns enrolled at the research institute. Through the system, pilots in remote locations will be able to communicate with customers and provide various services through robots on site while exchanging information such as audio and video in real time.
A survey*1 conducted by FLEMME, a recruitment service for people with disabilities specializing in telework, operated by the Ory Institute, revealed that communication is an issue when working from home for people who have difficulty leaving their homes due to disabilities etc. It is known that Emotional expression using physical expression supports communication issues and expands the scope of telework.
