Keychain participates in DID/VC co-creation consortium
Keychain LLC (Headquarters: Minami-Aoyama, Minato-ku, Tokyo, CEO: Hope Jonathan, hereinafter referred to as the Company) is a DID/VC co-creation consortium (Decentralized) sponsored by Mitsubishi UFJ Trust and Banking.

We are pleased to announce that we have joined the Consortium, 46 participating companies (hereinafter referred to as DVCC), and have also participated in technical studies for a new identity verification subcommittee that utilizes DVCC’s decentralized IDs (DIDs) and digital certificates (VCs). .

* DIC/VC co-creation consortium activities*
DVCC was established in 2023 with the aim of establishing rules for business co-creation and interoperability using DID/VC in Japan, and an identity verification subcommittee was established in June of this year. The Identity Verification Subcommittee uses DID/VC technology to return to consumers the results of strict identity verification conducted by financial institutions based on laws and guidelines from regulatory agencies, allowing them to manage and use them at their own will. By doing so, we aim to eliminate the need for repeated identity verification while simultaneously protecting privacy and ensuring the strict identity verification results of financial institutions.

Our company has developed technologies related to self-sovereign digital IDs (DID/SSI), data-centric security, digital certificates (VC), and digital consensus building, and has accumulated many achievements.

Our Keychain was used as a use case in the healthcare, supply chain management, and IoT fields in the web use case public recruitment project.

Build a data sharing platform for management and traceability. – *Electricity*: Demonstration of cyber attack detection and protection for Kansai Electric Power Company’s P2P power trading infrastructure, implementation of smartphone payment system at Chubu Electric Power Company.
In the future, we intend to contribute to DVCC’s activities based on our technical knowledge.
