This support will be provided by Avenir Co., Ltd., a 100% subsidiary. “Industrial Physician Cloud” is a package of workplace situation analysis and improvement proposals by our consultants, service provision by industrial physicians and industrial health nurses, and various cloud-based services “ELPIS” that contribute to the mental and physical health management of employees. By providing this service, we will implement comprehensive health management and mental health measures.
* ■Background and purpose *
The Ministry of Defense is implementing various measures, including formulating the “Ministry of Defense Basic Policy on Mental Health” in 2022, in order to maintain and improve the mental health of each employee and prevent suicide accidents and the onset of mental illness. We are promoting The internal departments of the Ministry of Defense have established a support system to ensure the mental and physical health and welfare of employees working in internal departments, as well as to resolve existing issues and create a health-friendly environment for employees. The introduction of management support services was planned.
In addition to our track record and services for comprehensive mental health measures in the workplace for civil servants, we provide specific solution programs through our “problem-solving operation” that proactively resolves workplace mental health issues in a non-formal manner. Since it was possible, we applied for open competitive bidding to participate in this initiative and were awarded the order. From August 2024, we will implement health management and mental health measures for approximately 1,500 internal department employees.

Our company believes that improving the working environment and creating a well-being workplace for essential workers, including civil servants, who are suffering from labor shortages due to various factors such as the declining birthrate and aging population and competition for human resources, will help them maintain their social lives. Since last year, we have been supporting mental health measures for teachers and staff in Naha City, Chiba City, and other cities.
By supporting the resolution of mental health issues for approximately 1,500 employees of the internal departments of the Ministry of Defense and the creation of a well-being workplace, we will create an environment where essential workers can maintain their mental health. In the future, we aim to expand this initiative to organizations other than internal departments of the Ministry of Defense and to other civil servants.
