BUMP OF to release new album “Iris” in September
A newly shot special program featuring all CHICKEN members and featuring the latest live footage will be broadcast exclusively on Space Shower TV on August 25th!
Space Shower TV, a music channel operated by Space Shower Network Co., Ltd. (President: Yoshito Hayashi, Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo), will release its 10th album on September 4th (Wednesday) for the first time in about 5 years. The new album “Iris” will be released, and the dome tour “BUMP” will begin on Saturday, September 7th.

“BUMP OF CHICKEN” will be exclusively broadcast for 60 minutes from 20:00 on Sunday, August 25th, just before the album release.

A solo interview with Motoo Fujiwara, the vocalist and guitarist of CHICKEN, who is in charge of songwriting and composing, about the new album “Iris” and the first revival tour “BUMP” included in the first production limited edition.
OF CHICKEN TOUR Homesick Satellite 2024” is made up of two major themes: a retrospective talk among all members.

The interview was with DJ Kentaro Ochiai of FM802, who has a close relationship with CHICKEN, and it was impressive to see him talk about his thoughts on this album in a relaxed atmosphere, such as touching on the origin of the album title and the behind-the-scenes stories behind the production of the songs included.
In addition to the four members, we invited Kento Yamada, who was in charge of the stage direction for this tour, to talk about the revival tour “Homesick Satellite 2024” that will run from February to the end of April this year. We recorded the video while projecting it onto the background of the members, and we talked about how we asked Mr. Yamada to direct it, how we were particular about this set and video, what it was like to work together for the first time, and what kind of impact this set and video had on the members. We will bring you a number of interesting stories, such as how they were given.
In between the talks, live footage from this tour, which will be included in the first limited edition of the new album “Iris”, will be interwoven, making the content of the talks more realistic.
Featuring their new album “Iris” released for the first time in about 5 years, this 60-minute piece delves deeper into the members’ own words, as well as songs, music videos, and live footage.
