★What is the main event of this tour “Ochihi Nori”?
It is a traditional Korean event that began during the Joseon Dynasty in the 17th century, and is held every year on the occasion of Buddha’s birthday to ward off evil spirits and pray for health and safety. (Designated as Gyeongsangnam-do Intangible Cultural Property No. 33)
A folk event where thousands of threads made from twisted charcoal and Korean paper are attached to ropes and set on fire, and the magical scene of countless flames falling has become a hot topic in Korean dramas and social media.
This time, in order to make this event widely known, this special event will be held for Japanese people for the first time as a special event for foreigners.
