We have established a “Pillow Throwing Club” within our company, which is a club activity where people throw pillows with all their might. My goal is to participate in the “All Japan Pillow Throwing Tournament”!
Pillow Co., Ltd. (Kashiwa City, Chiba Prefecture, Representative: Tomoyuki Kawamoto), a company specializing in pillows that plans, develops, manufactures, and sells them through e-commerce and the Internet, has conducted an internal activity called We are pleased to announce that we have established a pillow throwing club.
Pillow Co., Ltd. manufactures and supplies “official pillows,” which are not just official balls, used at the “All Japan Pillow Throwing Tournament,” where pillow tossing is held as a competition. As a result, although there were many opportunities to watch pillow toss matches, very few staff members had actually participated in the competition.
We have recently established an in-house “pillow toss club” with the aim of deepening understanding of our products, revitalizing internal communication, and supporting health maintenance by providing opportunities for physical activity.

After being contacted by MF Bunko J (“Yurufuwa Senpai Changes with Pillows”), we provided information on pillow tossing, explanations about official pillows, and information on club activities.

This is a competitive version of “pillow toss,” which everyone has experienced on school trips.
The competition is held in yukata, and teams of eight people throw pillows at each other under the basic rule that anyone who gets hit by a pillow is out. There are special rules such as starting from a sleeping position on a futon, positions such as “General” and “Libero,” and the use of the “Teacher is here!” call, except for throwing and dodging. This is a competition that requires team unity and strategic ability.
At the “All Japan Pillow Throwing Tournament” held every year, teams that have won preliminary competitions around the country compete in heated competitions.
