Free seminar for small and medium-sized transportation companies “Transportation companies can do it! Practical efforts to reduce waiting time” | Held on Thursday, September 26th
*Notice of CRE Forum (Online Seminar)*
CRE Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo, President and CEO: Tadahide Kameyama) is holding a free seminar for small and
medium-sized transportation companies called “You can become a transportation company!” “Practical Initiatives to Reduce Loading Waiting Time” will be held online from 16:00 to 17:00 on Thursday, September 26, 2024.
Responding to the notification of improvement standards that have become stricter and more complex since April 2024 has become a challenge for transportation companies. In particular, waiting times tend to extend truck drivers’ working hours, making it difficult to comply with improvement standards notifications. In this seminar, Hishiki Transport Co., Ltd.
Representative Director and President
Mr. Hirokazu Hishiki will be the lecturer, and the lecture will include a system that allows truck drivers to self-manage compliance regardless of their level of experience or level of understanding of improvement standards notices, and how to effectively utilize them to request improvements from shipper companies. We will introduce practical know-how for reducing cargo waiting time from a practical perspective.

*Notification of improvement standards for truck drivers*
The Improvement Standards Notification refers to the “Standards for Improving Working Hours, etc. of Motor Vehicle Drivers” (Notification by the Minister of Health, Labor and Welfare). This standard was reviewed from the perspective of ensuring the health of car drivers, who are currently working long hours and being overworked, and will begin to be applied in April 2024.
Truck drivers’ daily restraints are generally limited to 13 hours or less, with a maximum of 15 hours, and their monthly restraints are limited to 284 hours. Additionally, students are required to have at least 11 hours of continuous rest during the rest period. Furthermore, driving time is limited to no more than 9 hours per day on an average of two days, and no more than 44 hours per week on an average of two weeks, placing emphasis on driver health management and ensuring safety.
