Comments from Representative Director Yudai Suenaga
This survey found that although there are not many people who have actually experienced Owahara, the public has negative opinions about Owahara.
It was found that more than 80% of the respondents answered that they knew the word “Owahara”. It can be seen that the word “Owahara” is spreading throughout the world.
However, only 20% of the respondents answered that they had actually experienced harassment while job hunting.
On the other hand, opinions about companies harassing job hunters were negative. Approximately 50% of respondents said that companies should take some kind of response, and approximately 30% of respondents said that Owahara behavior is not a good thing to begin with.
Approximately 70% of respondents responded that they would like to provide support for Owahara by setting up a consultation desk.
Owahara uses various methods to ensure that companies secure the job hunters they want, but the public has shown a negative attitude towards this situation. Nowadays, there is a lot of harassment, and the public has become very sensitive to it. In addition, it is an environment where it is easy for a company’s reputation to spread quickly on social media and other channels. I think there is a need for companies to take some kind of action against harassment, including harassment.
summary
・Over half of the people, 60% of the total, are aware of Owahara. ・The percentage of people who have actually experienced acts like Owahara is as low as 20%.
・More than 80% of people have a negative opinion about Owahara, and more than half think that companies should take some kind of response. Survey overview
