We are an organization made up of eight Tsugaru municipalities in Aomori Prefecture, with the motto of “Fukagu Asagu (deep walk in Tsugaru dialect) through the everyday life of Tsugaru”.
In recent years, not only men but also young women are enjoying snacks, and they are attracting attention as they are also known as “snack girls.”
Kotsugaru, a site that introduces Tsugaru’s historic culture and lifestyle, offers the Snack Mama Card to 13 snack stores, Mama Master, which operates in Owani Town, a hot spring town that boasts an 800-year history. ” and will start a project that everyone from snack beginners to “sna women” can enjoy. To coincide with the opening of “Furutsugaru Week,” which will hold 75 events starting September 1st, there is also a plan to light up the Sanmon Gate and Nakano Bridge of Daienji Temple in Owani Town in pink, a color reminiscent of snack culture. Even if you’re not a suna woman or a suna woman, why not open the door to a good old hot spring town snack bar?

A business card-sized card distributed at 13 stores in Owani Town. The front side features photos of the restaurant’s moms and chefs, while the back side features store signs such as “Kurohime” and “Akane” and an analysis table that quantifies things like “ripening level” and “drinking level”. . You can get a card by using it at each store (you can also use it for soft drinks). Limited to 400 each card. If you collect 5 tickets, you will also receive benefits such as being able to use local hot spring facilities.

Start event (eve festival) of Furutsugaru Week 2024. In addition to distributing Snack Mama cards at 13 restaurants operating in Owani Town, the Sanmon Gate and Nakano Bridge of Daienji Temple will be illuminated in pink during the event (6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.). To celebrate the eve of the week, on behalf of the Furutsugaru PR ambassador “Rice Ball”, local idol “Ringo Musume”‘s sister unit “Alps Otome” will perform “Ote Live” at a temple, as well as a Neputa Hayashi performance. Serve rice cakes. A kitchen truck will be set up on the grounds, and from 4:00 p.m., visitors will be given away gifts such as “Furutsugaru coasters” with a Kogin-zashi design, one-drink free tickets, and demon masks.

The principal image enshrined here is a “nationally designated important cultural property.” Usually, cypress is used, but because it is made of cypress wood, it is said that it was carved using a large crocodile by a Buddhist sculptor from the city who came to Hiraizumi.
