Nessu Co., Ltd. We would like to inform you that we have been selected as a candidate for the contract. Through this business, we will work to expand sales channels for Asahikawa-produced rice and strengthen branding, while working to build a new system that will deliver support to those in need and eliminate the disparity in food opportunities for children.

What is Asahikawa City’s “social contribution type Asahikawa agricultural products sales channel expansion business”?

The purpose of this business is to contribute to society by supplying Asahikawa-grown rice to disadvantaged children across the country by utilizing the corporate version of hometown tax, and to expand sales channels for Asahikawa-grown rice and strengthen branding. That’s what I said.

Aiming to eliminate the disparity in food opportunities with a new system Since our founding in 2022, Nessu has made the “food bank business” our core business, and we have been donating substandard vegetables in collaboration with producers and agricultural cooperatives, and donating processed foods in collaboration with food manufacturers and food wholesalers. We have focused on planning and social
implementation of various food donation systems.
In this business, we will utilize the knowledge and networks gained through our business activities to date to expand sales channels and strengthen branding for Asahikawa-produced rice, as well as create a new system to deliver continuous and seamless support to those in need.
