We held a 3-day original training course in English for 11 Cambodian employees who are strongly promoting DX.
*The importance of “values education” that overcomes the language barrier and is the reason behind achieving a retention rate of zero employees for four years*
Starting in 2020, Achievement Co., Ltd. is hiring new engineering staff from the Cambodian University of Technology who will be responsible for promoting DX. This year, we welcomed three new employees on June 20th, growing our engineering team to a total of 11 people. One of the reasons we have achieved a retention rate of zero employees is that we hold training sessions aimed at “value
education.” We have translated the public lectures we hold as our own products into English and are holding original lectures for 11 people, and this is the second time we have held them. By communicating and incorporating important values in our company’s management, we improve loyalty and engagement among all employees.

* ■Held training that touches on the core of “management that values people” with simultaneous interpretation*

From 2020, Achievement Co., Ltd. has strengthened the recruitment of engineer staff and started hiring foreign engineers to promote DX. In line with our long-standing emphasis on “management that values people,” we have created an environment where employees can work happily even in environments where languages and cultures differ. This time, the course, which has been attended by more than 60,000 people over 32 years, was translated into English for 11 Cambodian engineering staff. In the 3-day course, participants will learn about over 300 goals and the essence of philosophy management, and will come into contact with the values that form the basis of their company’s management. This is the second training session that involved translating approximately 200 pages of text and three days of simultaneous interpretation.

* ■The solution to the high turnover rate of foreign workers lies in “values education”*
Currently, the decline in the working population in Japan is becoming a problem, and there is a movement to actively hire foreign workers. However, many companies are facing the challenge of developing systems to accept employees, and a Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare survey shows that the short-term turnover rate is over 45%. We believe that this most important issue arises from a “mismatch in values” that arises from differences in language and culture.
Therefore, the above-mentioned training that we are working on as a recruitment measure begins with “clarification (verbalization) of one’s own values,” and questions such as “Where do I empathize with my company’s values?” and “Where do I want to go in the future?” It also includes sessions that give concrete form to “What is the future?” By stopping work for three days, facing yourself, and designing your life, you are able to create empathy for the values that the company values. As a result, we have been hiring for four years and have achieved zero turnover.

* ■Growing into a leader in DX, including designing internal core systems*

Since the Cambodian members joined, we have been able to develop DX in various fields, including the development of a “core system for corporate customers,” a “QR entry system at training venues,” and “development of a daily report system for the entire company.” Engaged in the development of We are promoting DX at an unprecedented speed, and the quality of our work is highly praised within the company.

As an option for DX for small and medium-sized enterprises in collaboration with overseas human resources, we will continue to work together to create success stories and contribute to the development of Japanese society.
