[Application deadline 8/31] We are looking for ideas that lead to peace using smartphones. Global Festa JAPAN, Japan’s largest international cooperation event
We will hold a student idea contest in 2024.
*The Japan International Cooperation NGO Center (JANIC) is soliciting ideas from students for “ideas that lead to peace using
smartphones.” *
JANIC Student Idea Contest 2024 https://janic-ideacontest.jp/ Japan’s Official Development Assistance (ODA) began in 1954 and this year marks its 70th anniversary. During this period, many countries have made great strides economically, but there are still many global challenges such as climate change, unstable international situations, poverty and refugee issues. As global citizens, each of us is required to take action to resolve these issues.
Therefore, JANIC is holding “JANIC Student Idea Contest 2024
” to solicit innovative ideas from the young generation to tackle these social issues. Entries will be submitted to Global Festa JAPAN, Japan’s largest international cooperation event.

” (held on September 28-29) will be exhibited at the indoor venue. Winners will also receive cash prizes and be invited to the awards ceremony to be held on September 29th.
* Your power as a student may be very small right now. However, being able to “think” will become a great weapon in the future.
It’s okay to give it shape after that. We are looking forward to the innovative ideas that only today’s people can come up with. *
