* Hirohiko Nakamura’s photo exhibition “Walking in Kiyosato: ‘Landscape Reflected by the Window'”* will be held from August 29th (Thursday) to September 4th (Wednesday).
Hirohiko Nakamura “Walking in Kiyosato “Landscape Reflected by the Window”” The area around Kiyosato Station was once called the “Harajuku of the Plateau” and where the Annon tribe* roamed in the 1980s. In recent years, there have been a number of articles introduced with words such as “ruins” and “ghost towns.”
However, Kiyosato Plateau, which spreads out here in Hokuto City, Yamanashi Prefecture, remains an attractive tourist destination as a summer resort, and the area around the station is by no means an end. Although we have been at a standstill due to the coronavirus pandemic, we are gradually returning to our ideal state.
While strolling around Kiyosato Station, I took photos wherever my heart took me. The several windows captured by the lens give me the feeling that they are interconnected spaces that allow me to quietly trace the time axis, and the scenery reflected by the various windows has something that resonates with me. There was. As I visited this area several times, I began to see the cityscape changing little by little.
It doesn’t seem like the former “Harajuku of the Plateau” is what it should be, so the word “resurrection” is not appropriate, but this is a collection of records that quietly captures the current situation around Kiyosato Station, which is being revitalized once again, from outside. , I would also be happy if you could view this as a collection of snapshots of landscapes that resonated with me. (Number of exhibits: 60-70 color prints)

*Annon tribe
The name originates from the magazine “an-an” for young women, which was launched in the 1970s, and “non-no”. In the 1970s and 1980s, these fashion magazines and guidebooks inspired large numbers of young women to flock to certain tourist destinations.
