■Senior Job Representative Director Yasue Nakajima’s words and excerpts Senior Job Representative Director Yasue Nakajima
Thanks to all of you, we at Senior Job Co., Ltd. celebrated our 10th anniversary on August 22nd. To be exact, it’s the 10th anniversary since we registered our corporation, and four of my friends, including myself, who are all university students, launched our company in a small apartment the previous year. My dream of becoming a professional soccer player was broken, and ever since I dreamed of success in the business world, I wanted to do work that would clearly change the future, such as solving social issues with cutting-edge technology. I’m here.
When we first started our business, we developed an IT business, but from there we experienced a major shift in our business to support job changes for seniors. The most memorable thing that happened to me after I changed my business to support job changes for seniors is that in the early days of job change support for seniors, I accompanied seniors to interviews, and when I returned home, more seniors who had gotten job offers were able to get a job based on their age alone. I was crying because of the frustration of not being able to get a job, and the joy of finally getting a job and being able to give a New Year’s gift to my grandson. When I saw that, I cried as well, and I decided to dedicate my life to creating a future where all seniors who want to work can find jobs without fear.
With just my thoughts and strength, I might have stumbled somewhere in the past 10 years. Senior Job has reached its 10th anniversary thanks to all of our employees, the companies that are hiring more and more seniors than they were 10 years ago, and all the working seniors. Thank you very much.
Over the past 10 years, the working environment for seniors has changed astonishingly, with the number of working seniors, the number and types of job openings for seniors increasing significantly, and the age at which seniors continue to work increasing. The senior job market will expand many times over in the next 10 years. Just as we have been at the cutting edge of senior employment for the past 10 years, we will continue to accelerate in the next 10 years with an eye toward the future. Thank you very much for your support.
