What has changed in the latest psychological tests? Points that teachers and psychologists should keep in mind
Godo Publishing Co., Ltd. will release the “WISC-V/KABC-II compatible version” on Amazon, Rakuten Books, and bookstores nationwide on August 22, 2024.
We have published “Children’s Psychological Tests and Intelligence Tests”.
In 2020, “Psychological Tests and Intelligence Tests for Children” was published and has been read by parents who are concerned about their children’s development, school teachers, special needs coordinators, psychologists, and many other supporters. Ta. This book not only explains what psychological tests are, but also introduces the meaning of taking tests and how to use the results to support children.
Subsequently, the Japanese version of WISC-V (5th edition) was released in 2021, and as the structure and indicators changed, we added and summarized the WISC-V test examples and support as a revised version. In particular, we focus on the cross-battery approach with KABC-II and explain new ideas.
At the end of the book, we have also created a “Psychological Testing Support Sheet” to share psychological test results with teachers at kindergartens (nursery schools) and schools. We hope that this site will be used by not only parents, but also school teachers,
supporters, and children to work together as a team to support children who are struggling.
A special contribution by Dr. Mikio Hiraiwa, a medical doctor, is also included.
