As economic globalization progresses and opportunities to work overseas increase, the gap between the skills required of expatriates and the expectations of companies is widening.
It can be said that the size of this gap makes it more difficult to succeed as an expatriate.

Mr. Baba, who has experience coaching over 100 people stationed overseas, will explain about “transition management.”

Transition refers to the process of adapting to a different cultural environment and getting to a state where you can perform in your own way, and is divided into four phases.
Transition is often compared to a “blindfolded roller coaster”, and it often happens that the phase has changed before you know it after taking a new position.
It is very important to be aware of the psychological states that you may encounter in the future and the situations that Japanese people are likely to fall into.

We will use specific examples to explain how you can overcome the transition and thrive as an expatriate by repeating what kind of dialogue with whom during each phase.

This seminar is a must-attend for employees in the head office’s human resources and overseas business divisions who are in the position of sending overseas employees, as they can get hints about the
psychological state of overseas employees and what kind of support and dialogue they are looking for.
