FUTATABI FUTABA is the region’s largest conference hotel*, opening in the Nakano area reconstruction industry base of Futaba-cho, Fukushima Prefecture.
A groundbreaking ceremony was held on August 26, 2024 in preparation for the start of construction of “FUKUSHIMA”.

In October 2023, Daiwa LifeNext concluded a business location agreement with Futaba Town, Fukushima Prefecture, at the Nakano District Reconstruction Industrial Base. At the same location, which is adjacent to the Great East Japan Earthquake and Nuclear Disaster Memorial Museum and the Fukushima Prefecture Reconstruction Memorial Park (scheduled for future development), we will open a new conference hotel, “FUTATABI”, which will be able to accommodate everything from accepting inbound tourists to hosting international conferences. By opening “FUTABA FUKUSHIMA”, we aim to contribute to the revitalization of the local economy.

We want to restore (revitalize) Futaba’s nature and industry. I want to encounter (reunion) the charm of this town and its people again. We want our guests to want to come to this place again (revisit). * We named the hotel “FUTATABI FUTABA FUKUSHIMA” with the hope that it would become a hotel that brings many “returns” to Futaba*. Sato, Chief Creative Sustainability Officer of TBWA HAKUHODO Co., Ltd., supervises and advises on the design of the entire building. Mr. Kazoo and Mr. Yoshitaka Haba, representative of BACH Co., Ltd., will be in charge of book direction for the library installed in the common building, providing a place of relaxation and learning for visiting guests.
