Despite the forecast of heavy rain the day before, the event was held successfully in miraculous weather!
Heavy rain early in the morning! But Nezugaseki was full of spirit. Wheelchair users also enjoyed the walk on the ocean.
I went to Big Sapp with my mother who is in a wheelchair. The children looked nervous at first, probably because they were worried about their mother, but by the time they returned to land, both of them were smiling.

Nagisa kids who can quickly use SUP on their kayaks!
After being taught how to wear life jackets, the children tried out marine activities such as swimming, kayaking, SUP, and pedalo riding. Children with disabilities and non-disabled children boarded together and enjoyed the sea. Even children attempting marine activities for the first time quickly learned the tricks and mastered them. I was worried about heatstroke, but with cloudy skies and light sunshine, it was a perfect day for marine activities.
