Three pianists have been appointed as Midori Art Park “Midori Piano Ambassadors 2024-2025”!
The hall of Midori Art Park, Yokohama City Midori Civic Cultural Center, has a reputation for its acoustics as it is equipped with a sounding board, and is especially equipped with Yamaha’s highest model of piano, the Yamaha Concert Grand Piano “CFX”. You can now enjoy the sound even better.
In addition to promoting the piano and disseminating the plans for the Midori Art Park, we will also provide artists with opportunities to connect with local people, thereby supporting their further success in the future.

The three ambassadors are performers who participated in the Midori Ward Citizen Music Festival Newcomer Concert Audition.
Together with the audition organizer, the Midori Ward Citizen Music Festival Executive Committee, these are three pianists who we would like to support in their further success in the future, and who are also willing to participate in a variety of activities.

In order to convey the joy of piano and bring music closer to people in the community, we hold events such as Midori Art Park’s Open Day, local festivals, and lobby concerts at ward offices, where many people can easily participate. Appearance.

* ■Take Yukio Yokoyama’s public lesson and make further progress* On February 16, 2025, I will receive a lesson (open to the public) with Yukio Yokoyama, and I will also have a duet with Mr. Yokoyama, which will give momentum to my future musical activities. Naoko Odano
Graduated from Tokyo Gakugei University, Faculty of Education, Department of Arts, Sports and Culture, Majoring in Music, and Graduate School of Education, Graduate School of Education, Majoring in Music, Majoring in Music. Worked as a full-time music instructor at a private junior and senior high school. Afterwards, he studied at the Vienna University of Music and Performing Arts and graduated with the highest grades.
Winner of numerous competitions including the 5th Midori Civic Music Festival Newcomer Concert Audition Excellence Award. The first recital will be held in March 2024. So far, Chitose Koike, Asami Miyake, Kiyotaka Noda, K.
Studied under Bert, A. Rusler, and J. Beers.
Moe Kasai
Graduated from Tokyo College of Music’s Piano Performer Course and completed graduate school there. Received the Excellence Award at the 6th Midori Citizens Music Festival Newcomer Concert Audition. 2nd place in the general division of the 20th Japan Musician Competition. 13th Yashio City Newcomer Audition Grand Prize. 46th Pitina Piano Competition Special Grade 3rd Preliminary Encouragement Award. So far, she has studied under Mari Takeda, Hironao Suzuki, Rie Ishii, Tomomi Hoshiko, and Satoko Takimoto.
Regular member of Yokohama Civic Hall Concert.
Shota Yoshida
Graduated from Ueno Gakuen University, Faculty of Music, Department of Music, Performer Course.
Passed the 4th Midori Civic Music Festival Newcomer Concert Excellence Award, the Yokohama Civic Hall Concert Audition, and the Yokohama Newcomer Concert. Received the Audience Award from NPO Young Buds Nurture Association.
Currently, he is a piano instructor at Shimamura Musical Instruments, Tomo Music School, and full-time accompanist for Corosoleil and Yokohama Boys and Girls Choir. So far, she has studied under Kayoko Miyata, Naomi Konno, and Haruyo Kubo.
