“Investigation Committee on Initiatives to Improve Job Satisfaction and Ease of Work” (Chair: Onishi
Takashi (Chairman of the National Planning Association, Professor Emeritus of the University of Tokyo, Professor Emeritus of Toyohashi University of Technology), Secretariat: Japan Telework Association (JTA), is a company that works with companies and organizations to improve employee motivation and ease of work. We are pleased to announce that we will be conducting a web survey (hereinafter referred to as this survey) to inquire about the status of initiatives and efforts to improve the quality of life. This committee is comprised of Chairman Onishi, JTA advisory board members, cooperating organizations (nine organizations), and observers from the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications, the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare, and the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry.
As the declining birthrate, aging population, and labor shortage progress in Japan, there is an urgent need to foster a culture and climate in which a diverse range of workers can play an active role. There is a need to further strengthen initiatives for human resources strategies, such as establishing employment management systems that are considered effective in improving work comfort.
This survey aims to help companies and organizations find it increasingly difficult to secure human resources to gain awareness about the job satisfaction of their employees, and to contribute to the recruitment, retention, growth, and business growth of human resources. This is the purpose of implementation. We would like to ask all business owners and other interested parties to help us by responding to the survey. You can also check your company’s position regarding initiatives for job satisfaction and ease of work.

Content: Approximately 30 questions in a web survey regarding the status of efforts in employment management and innovations that are considered effective in increasing job satisfaction and ease of work. It takes about 10 minutes to answer.
Mainly extracted from the contents of government investigations and reports. Response period: August 27th (Tuesday) noon to September 30th (Monday) 17:00 (subject to change)
Target companies and organizations nationwide. There are no
restrictions on size of industry.
Answer: There are no particular restrictions, but the questions are related to management, human resources, corporate planning, and general affairs.
Publication of survey results The compiled results will be published around April 2020.
