Comment from Hokkaido Yellow Stars Representative Director Ryuichi Hirano “This is the first time for us to enter into a three-way agreement and collaborate with another sport, and we are very excited and full of expectations to see what kind of chemical reaction will occur. The Yellow Stars have many female fans, We are a team with a strong motivational element, and if we have something that can only be seen here, such as posters in collaboration with Black Diamonds, I think our fans will come and engage in economic activities. This can also lead to creating opportunities for more people to learn about Bibai City.Rather than keeping everything to ourselves, we can share our resources, fans, and sponsors. I believe this is important, and I would like to build a worldview in which issues are resolved through mutual exchange between the three parties.
Bibai City is a city that is currently attracting a lot of attention, as Nagayama won a bronze medal in judo at the Paris Olympics, and the Hokkaido Bibai-Furano Line has also opened. I would be very happy if we were able to deliver good news to the citizens in the form of the third installment, and from now on, the three parties will work together to tackle something that no one else has done, and share success stories from here to the whole country. We would like to send out messages to
Comment from Tsune Sakurai, Mayor of Bibai
“Unlike previous collaboration agreements that Bibai City has concluded, the fact that it is a three-party agreement involving the Yellow Stars volleyball team, the Black Diamonds baseball team, and the city serving as a hub is novel and will create new value. Each team is closely connected to the local area and will use the field of Bibai City to solve various issues such as sports promotion and tourism promotion in the area. I hope that the team will continue to make further progress through collaboration. We hope to make this event meaningful not only for the citizens but also for the children of Bibai City and Hokkaido.”
