* ■ Incidents caused by security awareness continue to occur* There is no end to security incidents caused by cyber-attacks such as ransomware attacks, and employee errors.
Possible countermeasures include introducing and operating various security products and services, and setting organizational rules such as security management regulations. However, another important thing is security measures for employees, or “people.”
If employees do not follow the rules, the rules will not be effective. Additionally, cyberattacks that target people’s vulnerabilities, such as phishing scams, cannot be prevented with only technical measures. * ■ Improving security awareness among employees is now more strongly required* In recent years, companies have suffered significant loss of trust due to security incidents that have been reported in the media and information leaks due to employee compliance violations.
In the unlikely event that such a situation occurs, significant costs will be incurred in dealing with the incident, such as lost
opportunities due to business suspension or business interruption, penalties due to legal violations, and the risk of litigation. Increasing employee security awareness needs to be addressed by the entire organization as an effort to protect the organization and its employees.
* ■ I have never implemented systematic information security education. Where should I start? *
“Information security education and training” is an effective measure to increase security awareness.
However, some companies may not have the experience of systematically implementing this for their employees. In fact, if there are many employees working in a variety of ways, including full-time, part-time, and fixed-term employment, it may be difficult to provide appropriate information security training to all employees.
Additionally, although information security education was previously provided, it may not be possible to continue it due to operational burden and costs.
Some people may be worried, saying, “I understand the importance of information security education, but I want to keep costs as low as possible.”
* ■ Introducing an easy-to-start e-learning service that is the first step to improving security awareness*
This seminar will be held for people in charge of information systems departments, general affairs, human resources/legal departments, etc. who plan and manage information security education and training for employees.
Currently, there are many information security education services on the market, but many of them are considered expensive because they are provided annually or have many functions. Therefore, we would like to introduce the “Information Security e-Learning Pack” that can meet the needs of “easier and lower cost”.
If you are thinking, “I want to start information security training now,” or “I want to restart it after a gap,” please join us. * ■Sponsored*
