Kayak Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Kamakura City, Kanagawa Prefecture, Representative Director and CEO: Daisuke Yanagisawa, TSE Growth: 3904, hereinafter Kayak) and Osakikamijima Town, Hiroshima Prefecture are working to develop new regional attractiveness and promote regional revitalization through hometown tax payments. For this purpose, we concluded a collaboration agreement on March 25, 2024. As a result of the collaboration agreement, we use 100% lemons from the same town, which is one of the largest producers of lemons in Japan, and use a special method to make the juice thicker and richer, about 120 times more than regular lemon juice. We have developed a new type of lemon juice, “Osakikamijima Napo Lemon,” which has aroma components (*1) extracted from it.
The name “Napolemon” comes from the famous revolutionary, Napoleon Bonaparte, and the “revolution” allows you to enjoy a smooth texture and strong aroma like never before.
It expresses that it is lemon juice like . This unique product allows you to enjoy an extremely refreshing drink just by adding it to sour or carbonated water.
Applications will begin on some hometown tax donation portal sites from August 15, 2024 (August 15 is actually Napoleon’s birthday), and we will move forward with mass production based on user responses. Our policy is to explore.

Taking advantage of this agreement, we are planning and developing return gifts with unprecedented high added value, making use of lemons, a specialty of Osakikamijima, and Kayak’s unique creativity.
Furthermore, we aim to develop products that support the town’s economy by establishing a continuous production system, building a supply chain, and developing related products.
◆What is “Osakikamijima Napolemon” born on “Lemon Island”?
Osakikamijima Town, Hiroshima Prefecture, a remote island floating in the Seto Inland Sea, is blessed with a warm climate and is known as the “Lemon Island”.
It is famous as a production area of domestic lemons. On July 25, 2024, the town, Pokka Sapporo, and Hiroshima University announced the results of a five-year joint research study showing that “daily lemon consumption suppresses increases in blood pressure” (*2).
“Osakikamijima Napole Lemon” is a 100% lemon juice with a new sensation, made by using all the lemons grown in Osakikamijima Town, which contributes to health promotion, including the skin, and using a special squeezing method.
