The SAKE 47 Executive Committee (848 Ubagaenoki-cho, Kamigyo-ku, Kyoto City, Representative: Kenji Yamamoto, hereinafter referred to as SAKE 47) is KANBEE, which specializes in sake branding.
INTEL Co., Ltd. (Representative: Kanetsugu Yamamoto) and Geode Co., Ltd. (Representative: Takeshi Kadokami), which specializes in planning and producing fine dining stores in Japan, will sell Japanese alcoholic beverages (sake, shochu, awamori, domestic whiskey). This is an executive committee organization working as a consortium to promote the project. The aim is to develop Japan’s economy and culture by increasing awareness and demand for Japanese alcoholic beverages. With the 2025 Kansai/Osaka World Expo attracting attention to Japan from around the world, we will be holding events and other activities to raise awareness of Japanese products, which have been sluggish due to shrinking domestic demand due to population decline and young people turning away from alcohol. We have started a project called “SAKE47” (trademark registration pending) aimed at promoting PR and expanding sales channels so that more people overseas can drink alcoholic beverages. The first event will be held in October 2024 with the following content: “Japanese Sake Festival to Enjoy with Gourmet Food and Music.”

At this event, we will be selling popular brands of sake and products from sake, shochu, awamori, and domestic whiskey breweries in 47 prefectures nationwide selected by the executive committee. At this two-day event where alcoholic beverages from all over Japan gather in one place, you can enjoy more than 100 types of sake from all over the country. In addition, the Noto Peninsula Earthquake Recovery Support Booth will sell sake from seven breweries in Ishikawa Prefecture, and all proceeds from sales will be donated through this event to support recovery efforts.
At the food booths, there will be 10 Michelin-starred restaurants selected by Geode’s representative food columnist Takeshi Kadokami and popular Kansai restaurants over the two days. You can enjoy a wide variety of food menus with alcohol, based on the theme of snacks that go well with alcohol. Furthermore, on the music stage, live
performances by 10 artists will be held over the two days. It is truly a sake festival where you can enjoy delicious food and music.
