Notice of postponement of “Kitagata Lakeside Fireworks Festival” commemorating the opening of Hokuriku Shinkansen Awara Onsen Station
The Kitagata Lakeside Fireworks Festival was scheduled to be held on August 31st (Saturday) to commemorate the opening of Awara Onsen Station on the Hokuriku Shinkansen.
Due to the approach of Typhoon No. 10, it will be difficult to hold the event, so we will postpone the event as follows.

Due to the postponement of the event, the following details will be changed. – Opening event performers

A fireworks display will be held to commemorate the 20th anniversary of Awara City and the opening of Awara Onsen Station on the Hokuriku Shinkansen.
Approximately 2,000 fireworks are scheduled to be launched at the Kitagata Lakeside Fireworks Festival, which will be held for the first time in seven years.

The venue will be livened up by Japanese drum performances by the city’s taiko team, the “Dossha Dossha Dance” by the local folk song preservation society, and Mr. Po, a kendama performer active mainly in Hokuriku. 19:30
