IoT water quality management system for aquaponics “Mana System(R)”
* ■About the “Algae x Aquaponics” project*
This project, led by Kumagai Gumi, aims to improve the efficiency of resource circulation by adding the cultivation of unique microalgae discovered by Kumagai Gumi to aquaponics, which combines land-based fish farming and hydroponic cultivation of vegetables. , minimizing fertilizer use and reducing environmental impact.
We also utilize Japan’s first CCU plant, which supplies microalgae with CO2 separated and recovered from waste gas from incineration plants.
This project is being carried out in collaboration with Kumagai Gumi, Hirayama, Mitsubishi Kakoki Advance, Yanmar Agri Japan, and others. We plan to expand operations to 10 facilities in each region and sell the system externally in the future.
Our customers are governments and companies with closed schools and factories, and we are aiming for 100 facilities and annual sales of 6 billion yen by 2030.
