◆Overview On August 23, 2024, National University Corporation Okayama University (Headquarters: Kita-ku, Okayama City, President: Yasutomo Nasu) signed an agreement regarding sports promotion collaboration with the Okayama Prefecture Sports Association, a public interest incorporated foundation, at the headquarters of the university’s Tsushima Campus. It was concluded in the building. This agreement aims to create a society in which the citizens of Okayama Prefecture, who are our university’s stakeholders, can live healthy and active lives through the power of sports.
At the signing ceremony held on the same day, Director Yukari Mimura (in charge of planning, evaluation, and general affairs) first explained the circumstances that led to the conclusion of the agreement and the contents of the agreement, followed by President Yasutomo Nasu and Takamasa Koshimune of the Okayama Prefecture Sports Association. The Chairman signed the agreement and gave a firm handshake.
Okayama University and the Okayama Prefectural Sports Association have been collaborating for some time from the perspective of improving the competitiveness of athletes and sports medicine science, but with the conclusion of this agreement, we will strengthen our collaboration with the Okayama Prefectural Sports Association Under this system, we will make effective use of each other’s resources and work together to promote sports from a broader perspective, revitalize local
