LM’s corporate philosophy is to “contribute to building a waste-free consumer society,” and in order to realize a sustainable society, LM engages in activities that connect consumers with companies engaged in SDGs activities, and the “Ponta Forest” in Bihoro Town, Hokkaido. We are conducting tree-planting activities.
We sympathize with the “Returning Nae” activity provided by Somano Base, and we would like to express our gratitude for the “Green Ponta” initiative.
In order to expand the circle of forest creation through “Action”, the two companies will work together to conduct a new initiative as a demonstration experiment in which acorns collected in Hokkaido will be grown until they become saplings in various parts of the country and then planted in Hokkaido. Approximately two years later, LM will take the lead in planting the seedlings returned to Somano Base in the Ponta Forest in Bihoro Town, Hokkaido.
