If you purchase a common season pass for Hakuba Norikura Onsen Ski Resort and Hakuba Cortina Ski Resort, which went on sale from September 1, 2024, you can ski the two ski resorts with one pass. Starting this season, season tickets for Hakuba Norikura Onsen Ski Resort alone will be discontinued, allowing you to enjoy a wider range of slopes. If you purchase a common season pass between September 1st and September 30th, you will receive a super early bird discount, which is our first initiative, and you can save even more money.
The 5th lift cross course “Alps Snow Park” with a total length of 400m where you can enjoy waves and banks has appeared at the Wakaguri Central Slope of Hakuba Norikura Onsen Ski Resort. The course is produced and maintained by a team headed by All Japan Ski Federation snowboard cross coach Hiromi Nishiyama, and everyone from beginners to advanced skiers can aim to step up to the next level.
In addition, this season, the popular Alps Lift 3 will operate earlier than normal business hours to meet the needs of those who want to ski many courses over and over again. In addition, we have extended the business period until April 6, 2025, allowing you to enjoy the spectacular views and skiing of the winter mountains for a longer period than usual.
A new automatic ticket machine has been installed at the first lift ticket office. This season we will also offer one of the few courses in the VALLEY area where you can ski with your pet. One of the new ways to enjoy skiing and snowboarding is to be soothed by the sight of your dog running around on the snow on the spacious slopes. You can spend a special day with your dog like no other.
This season, we will expand the facilities of the kids park where children can play safely. With the new installation of the “belt conveyor-type slope climbing device Sunkid”, which helps the conveyor belt climb the slope just by standing, even small children can now easily access the slopes. In addition, Chibikko Hiroba offers a variety of play equipment such as sleds and snow tubes, so you can enjoy the snow in your own way.
* 3. Make Hakuba Norikura hot in winter! A poolside DJ event will be held *
A poolside DJ event is scheduled to be held in the outdoor area of ”Hakuba Norikura Aqua Oasis”. This is a DJ event that is only available in Japan, where you can hear energetic sounds echoing against the backdrop of majestic snow-covered mountains. Illuminations decorate the snowy mountains and poolside, creating an extraordinary space. After working up a sweat skiing or snowboarding, enjoy a special winter experience as you soak in the pool or open-air whirlpool bath while listening to the music.
* 4. Enjoy freshly caught seafood from Itoigawa at the ski resort! *
Our ski resort/hotel welcomes Denpei Suisan, a seafood processing company and multiple dining establishments located in Itoigawa City, Niigata Prefecture, as a tenant again this season, and will be offering a wide variety of meals. At the ski resort’s restaurant “Snowdrop,” you can fully enjoy the flavors of winter, such as authentic seafood bowls and seafood bowls filled with fluffy, warm rice and seafood. In addition, the Japanese restaurant “Azumino” in the “Hakuba Alps Hotel”, which is adjacent to the ski resort, offers course meals where you can enjoy the seasonal flavors of winter, such as kaiseki cuisine using locally produced ingredients, yellowtail shabu-shabu, and crab.
