Representative Director: Takeomi Kawamura) uses salt koji from Koizumi Kojiya, a long-established store founded in the first year of the Meiji era, at Motsukichi in Ogikubo and Shibuya. The new menu will start on Thursday, September 5, 2024. As the heatwave continues to continue, we have created a new menu with the hope that you can survive the lingering summer heat by developing a menu using “Salt Koji”, which is expected to have the effect of preventing heat stroke, relieving summer fatigue, and recovering from fatigue.

Founded in the first year of the Meiji era (1868 AD). For over 150 years, we have continued to support the local fermented food culture as a koji processing factory. The sudden death of the fourth generation in 1983 brought its history to an end, but in 1997 (1997), the current fifth generation representative quit his job and became a 14-year company. A year later, we lit a fire at Noren, which continues to this day. We want more people to know about koji, the ultimate natural seasoning that brings out the maximum flavor of the

Motsuyoshi
Located in Ogikubo, Shibuya, Tokyo, Motsuyoshi is a hot topic on social media for its Kyoto-style offal hotpot made with Kyoto ingredients and all-you-can-eat obanzai lunch. The interior of the store is modeled after an old folk house in Kyoto, and is lined with antique furniture and furnishings made during the Meiji period.
