Paris 2024 Olympic silver medal won! Wolf Aron returns to his alma mater

Wolf Aron, a member of Japan’s judo team who won runner-up in the mixed team competition (winning a silver medal) at the 2024 Olympics, visited his alma mater, Katsushika Ward Komatsu Minami Elementary School, and was greeted with applause by about 450 students.
Wolf’s greetings led to a Q&A session for the students, and the questions included, “How do you usually prepare your body and mind before a competition?” and “What inspired you to start judo?” A simple question was raised. While Wolf gave his answers seriously, he sometimes joked with his unique personality, deepening his interaction with the students.

Additionally, when Wolf performed a trick on the physical education teacher, the students cheered and cheered each time he performed a trick.
At the end, a commemorative photo was taken for each grade, and Wolf left the school high-fiving with the students.
Additionally, Wolf paid a courtesy visit to Katsushika Ward Office on the same day. The Mayor and others gave congratulatory words and presented a knife with the name of Yaegashi Uchihamono Seisakusho, a traditional craft of Katsushika Ward.
