Make polygon annotation function more convenient!
We have updated the polygon annotation function, one of harBest’s most popular functions, to make it easier to use.
We have received many requests for polygon annotation and data correction functions, and have made them more convenient to use.

In order to improve the visibility of the data, we have made it possible to show/hide specific layers, and also added some shortcut key functions as requested.

-Function to show/hide specific layers-
An eyeball mark will appear on the specified layer, and you can set it to show/hide by clicking on it.

We have also made improvements to some of the bugs we received on the polygon annotation data correction screen.
We are also currently developing similar updates for the rectangle annotation function!
Improved pagination function
When scrolling to the bottom of the data list displayed in the annotation list, the next page was automatically loaded.
While we’ve heard that automatic loading is convenient, we’ve also heard that you can’t tell which page you’re on when concentrating on approval work.

Therefore, we have updated the app so that it can be set to not load data automatically, making it easier to manage annotation data by moving pages. You can make such settings by clicking the switch where it says “Automatically load data” in the annotation data list. If you set the page to not load automatically, that setting will be saved in your browser, so you can use it comfortably.
Also, those who are comfortable with automatic data loading can continue to use it as usual without changing the settings.
Only annotation data can now be saved when saving MSCOCO format snapshots. When saving a snapshot, the MSCOCO format now requires not only rectangular and polygonal information but also image data to be downloaded at the same time.

However, we have received feedback that individual image files are large in size, and if there are dozens or hundreds of images, it takes a lot of space and takes a long time to download.

Therefore, we have made it possible to specify options when creating a snapshot so that you can download only information such as rectangles and polygons in the json file!

M.S.
When selecting the COCO format, a checkbox for “Annotation files only” will appear, so if you check it, you will be able to quickly download a zip file that does not contain image files. Please take advantage of it!
We have also improved the functions so that you can use harBest more comfortably.
– Similar shortcut keys have been implemented for the key point annotation function. You can also zoom in and out using the mouse wheel.
– Fixed a bug related to uploading files to the project.
– Improved the behavior of moving pages in the annotation list. – Fixed a bug related to displaying the annotation list page. – Expired projects can now be edited. You can now continue to annotate projects that have passed their scheduled deadline. *About harBest*
