(Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo, General Partners: Tomoki Shirakawa, Keisuke Kogure, hereinafter referred to as the Company) today announced the 26th term of its free office support program “FLAP” for entrepreneurs who are preparing to start a business or are in the early stages of starting a business. We have started recruiting. We will provide up to 5 selected companies with 6 months of free office support and various support programs.
■What is Free Office Support & Entrepreneur Community “FLAP”? “FLAP” is a free office and entrepreneur community for entrepreneurs who are preparing to start a business or are in the early stages of starting a business. Participating companies can use the incubation office “ivy” in Shibuya 24 hours a day, 365 days a year (registration is possible).
We provide a network with entrepreneurs, experts, and famous managers to help grow your business while reducing the burden of office and other startup preparation costs.
In order to maximize the investment of “time”, the most important resource for startups, into business, we do not adopt a “school format” that requires time constraints like accelerator programs, but instead create a “community” centered on selected companies. We aim for mutual assistance in problem solving and friendly competition.
The program started in August 2018, and in the past 6 years there have been 25 terms /
Over 110 companies are participating in the community. We recruit and operate this service once every three months, and we hope that you will utilize it at any time during your preparations for starting a business. After participating in the program, many selected companies have completed fundraising from venture capital, angels, etc., and M&A from operating companies, and we have invested in 15 companies.
■What are the benefits of participating in “FLAP”?
1. ivy 6 months free offer
We provide free incubation office “ivy” for mint investee companies. You can reduce the cost burden associated with opening and registering an office before and after starting a business, as well as the stress of searching for a location such as a cafe or hourly rental space. ivy is a 6 minute walk from Shibuya Station and can be used as a registered address (extension beyond 6 months is negotiable).
2. Free/discount package “Service for FLAP”
In order to reduce expenses during the start-up period, we provide support to minimize the burden of expenses related to start-up preparation and business verification. Provision of free and discount plans for various business tools for startup management, lawyer / We provide information on collaborative plans with tax accountants and other experts.
3. Entrepreneur community
By connecting with fellow entrepreneurs who are in similar business phases, you can gain insight into the early stages of starting a business and discuss your concerns with each other. Past participating teams have diverse backgrounds, including serial entrepreneurs, student entrepreneurs, young aces at major companies/IT companies, and people with professional experience such as doctors and lawyers, all contributing their knowledge. .

5. Funding support by mint
