Garden Necklace Yokohama 2024 “Autumn Satoyama Garden Festa” will be held! *All kinds of autumn are soft and fluffy. *
The Satoyama Garden Festa will be held from Saturday, September 14th to Monday, October 14th (holiday).
The large flowerbed, which is approximately 10,000 square meters and one of the largest in the city, is decorated with 150,000 flowers of approximately 100 varieties, with the theme of “Sparkling Hill.”
In addition to holding a photo contest on the photo posting site Hanamiru Spot Yokohama (cooperated with GreenSnap Inc.), the Yokohama Agricultural Cooperative will be selling flower seedlings at the front entrance plaza of the Satoyama Garden, and FANCL Co., Ltd. will be giving away recycled flowerpots. etc. will also be carried out. A large flower bed surrounded by a vast forest, a rare environment in the city. This fall’s theme is “Sparkling Hill,” with 150,000 flowers of about 100 varieties including zinnias, angelonias, salvias, and cosmos (more than 90% of the flower seedlings at the venue are grown in the city), ranging from yellow to vermilion, peach, and purple. The gradation is developed and you can enjoy the changing colors from the barrier-free garden path. Come and find your favorite flowers! * (2) Let’s make it together! “Hanamiru Spot Yokohama” Photo Contest* “Hanamiru Spot Yokohama” is a website created from photos posted by everyone (in cooperation with Green
Snap Inc.) will be holding a photo contest to coincide with the event period. If you come to the venue and post a nice photo, you can win Garden Bear novelty goods, etc.
* (3) Collaboration project with ambassador Masashi Mikami*
Masashi Mikami, an ambassador for Garden Necklace Yokohama and GreenSnap, will introduce this autumn’s flowers and recommended photo spots in the Satoyama Garden in a video together with children and the Satoyama Garden manager. (Scheduled to be released around 9/14)
In addition, we will be holding an “Autumn Satoyama Garden Festa Guided Tour with Masashi Mikami” on September 8th for children under elementary school age and their guardians. (Reservation required, details on Garden Necklace Yokohama official website)
* (4) Enjoy daily changes! Product sales and events at the entrance plaza, etc.* ・
In addition to food trucks selling snacks, sweets, and drinks at the main entrance plaza and welcome garden, there will also be
exhibitions, product sales, and concerts related to flowers, greenery, and the environment on a daily basis.

For two days starting from the first day of the event, flower seedlings grown in Yokohama will be sold in cooperation with the Yokohama Agricultural Cooperative Association, and flower pots made from recycled empty bottles will be given away in cooperation with FANCL Co., Ltd.

There will be a local food truck selling bento boxes and sweets made with ingredients from Yokohama. The stall opening schedule will be announced on the Satoyama Garden Festa official website.

We will hold events such as Nofuku Marche, where welfare businesses in the city sell bread and miscellaneous goods, exhibits where you can learn about environmental efforts by the city and related
organizations, and a concert by the fire department band.
・We will hold a garden bear greeting. The date and time will be announced on the Garden Necklace Yokohama official website at a later date.
・On Thursdays, Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays during the event, citizen volunteers will provide guidance on the Satoyama Garden (reception will be accepted at the venue on the day).
* (5) Have fun with your kids*
・During the event period, we will be distributing “Flower Search Sheets” that allow you to search for flowers like a game (3,000 sheets are planned to be distributed for free during the event period). The flower search sheet comes with a garden bear coloring book. With your child

・”Kids Day” will be held on Saturday, October 12th. On the day of the event, we will hold hands-on workshops where children can enjoy flowers, greenery, and nature. Details of “Kids Day” will be released at a later date on the Satoyama Garden Festa official website. 3. Collect stamps and enjoy the adjacent facilities
A stamp rally will be held as a collaborative project between Yokohama Zoo Zoorasia, Forest Adventure Yokohama, and Trail Adventure Yokohama. If you present the mount containing the four stamps at Satoyama Garden, you will receive the following benefits.
