Experience the difference from full-time schooling: Schooling for transfer students in small groups
Wao Mirai Gakuen Wao High School (located in Okayama City, Okayama Prefecture) fosters the ability to survive in turbulent times through practical studies and education.
Principal Tsuyoshi Hirata) (hereinafter referred to as Wao High School) will open in April 2021. This is a correspondence high school where you can connect with friends from all over the country, have dialogues, learn philosophy, and develop your interests. We would like to inform you that we will be holding a transfer information session for first and second year high school students this September.
The number of students enrolling mid-year at correspondence high schools is 31,530 (1,963 students from public high schools and 29,567 students from private high schools in FY2020), and approximately 30% of correspondence high schools are transfer students (Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology) “Basic School Survey”). At Wao High School, there are many students who have transferred from other schools, and they are enjoying their high school life to the fullest, aiming for university entrance exams, pursuing what they like, and deepening their relationships with their peers. Masu.
When transferring from a full-time high school, many students worry about whether they will be able to take the university entrance exams properly, but at Wao High School, we take advantage of the advantage of being a correspondence high school where you can design your own time, so that you can prepare for your current high school. You can efficiently earn academic credits and study for university entrance exams. Furthermore, in the “Individual Tutoring Course,” students can receive learning support by attending cram schools at “Individual Tutoring Axis,” which has over 500 schools in 47 prefectures. We provide personalized learning for students such as, “I have a university I’m aiming for,” or “I want to retake what I learned up to junior high school,” and provide career advice tailored to each individual student while balancing their studies at Wao High School. At the transfer information session, we will introduce you to the correspondence high school system, learning and school life at Wao High School, and your career path after graduation. You can also discuss any concerns you may have, such as transferring your current number of credits. .
○ Experience the difference from full-time schooling: Schooling for transfer students in small groups:
Schooling for transfer students for the first semester of 2024 was held from August 6th to 8th in a homely atmosphere. At the opening ceremony, Vice Principal Hisashi Kawamoto encouraged students to “make a conscious effort to interact with as many people as possible during the schooling period,” and students and faculty members introduced themselves to each other, including their hometowns and hobbies. In physics class, the students made their own experimental equipment using magnets and conducted an experiment to confirm electromagnetic force. Small class classes allow for conversations like, “How did your teacher study in high school?” or “The high school I went to had a lot of homework…” This schooling allowed many transfer students to experience the difference from full-time high schools, where they sit all day and take lectures.

Wow High School Mission
We cultivate people who are well-educated, have a righteous heart, seek their own happiness, and contribute to society.
Wow High School Vision
We will make it commonplace in the world to derive one’s own solutions through philosophy and open up the future.
Wow High School Value
– The philosophy of Wow Corporation, which has pursued “the excitement of learning” for about 50 years.
– Have repeated conversations, learn philosophy, and develop the ability to think independently
– A support system that helps individuals realize their futures, such as going to higher education, studying abroad, starting a business, etc.
– A virtual campus that connects you with unique friends from all over the country
– A real, deepening, and effective learning style that spreads online Why do we learn “philosophy” at WOW High School?
In this age of diversity and change, there is no absolute correct answer. That is why we need the ability to build the society of the future with a rich education and flexible ideas. “Philosophy” is a language game that continues to refine “thinking” in search of “universally valid” definitions of human activities. By looking at the society we live in now from a philosophical perspective, we will see the world as we see it in a completely different way, and we will be able to reconsider familiar social issues from a new perspective. We want high school students to have this kind of “eye-opening” experience, so we offer classes that involve repeated dialogue and thorough “thinking.”
At Wow High School, you can deepen your learning both online and in real life. At Wao High School, a correspondence high school, you can learn by taking advantage of the advantages of online and real life. On the virtual campus, which can be connected online from anywhere in the country, we hold daily homeroom sessions, joint learning activities such as morning activities, and on-campus events, allowing students and faculty from remote locations to deepen their dialogue. The Okayama, Tokyo, and Osaka campuses offer a “commuting course,” where a dedicated coach provides individual support to help students maintain a learning rhythm and practice programming and English conversation. moreover,
In the “Individual Tutoring Course,” you can receive learning support by attending “Individual Tutoring Axis” in over 500 schools in 47 prefectures, and we will provide full support with individual optimization from preparing for university entrance exams to relearning.
